EATS: Should workout type impact eating choices?

Great question! For the most part my diet is pretty boring (consistent). While I might eat slightly less protein on cardio days or slightly more carbohydrates on heavy lifting days, my food choices vary little based on the type of workout. What I aim for in every meal:
Veggies, veggies, veggies - they make up the bulk of the plate.
Good protein like a piece of fatty fish.
Olive oil or avocado oil in place of butter and margarine.
Avocados..need I say more? From potassium to folate, avo's are the goat.
Nuts and seeds provide extra protein and healthy fat.
"Not today, satan!" when it comes to refined carbs, dairy, and sweet fats (like flavored yogurt).
