"People always ask me “When is the best time to workout?” And my answer is ALWAYS, Whenever works for you. Many of us search for answers and inquire the way to success in our health and wellness journeys...but doing someone else’s routine doesn’t work. But I’m here to tell you that starting your day off right can carry better behavior throughout the day.
1. Drink a bottle of water when you wake up. It’s important to get at least 1/2 your body weight in oz of water a day.. so why not start off with 20oz right away? Put some lemon in it if you really want to step up your game.
2. Stretch. You don’t even need to get out of bed to make this happen. Roll up, touch your toes, put your legs in the air. Do whatever you need to do to keep those aches and pains away.
3. Workout ( ASAP). The reason why I say this is then you won’t have an excuse that you don’t have time to do it later. Even if it’s only 15 min, you’ll feel better and keep up your metabolism for the rest of the day. Even better, combo your workout: watch the news or your favorite show while you exercise.
4. Meal prep healthy breakfast options. Don’t get stuck not eating or eating something sugary and fatty. Meal prep some egg cups, overnight oats, hard boiled eggs. And if you didn’t meal prep, just make a shake. Almond milk and protein powder is all you need.
5. Go to bed early and wear your workout clothes to bed. I know it’s not a morning tip, but it’ll help you make better decisions in the AM!"
