Tha Good Good, Week of 2.11.19
1. Hummus I'm obsessed with – Ithaca Cold-Crafted
I've needed Ithaca all my life. No clue why it took me so long to discover it. As someone constantly on the verge of turning into a chickpea because of how much hummus and falafel I eat, I have the highest of standards. It's perfect: fresh, creamy, the right amount of thicc. My only complaint? It runs out too quickly.
Take a trip to Publix and dive in.
2. Clothes you can move in: 7/8 Springs Leggings from Outdoor Voices
My friends often describe my look as a mom dropping her kids off at school on her way to tennis practice - but like trendy. And ya know what? They're right. I'm all athleisure all the time. Finally there's a brand out there that allows you to move, while holding it all in (you know what I mean).
Stretch it out and see for yourself.
3. A tough but important listen: Believed, a podcast by NPR
Anyone who followed the case of Larry Nassar felt increasingly disturbed as details of his assaults unfolded. While you may think you know just how bad this guy's actions were, in reality, they were so much worse. Further understand the empowering movement happening around us by taking time to hear stories of unparalleled strength, courage, and camaraderie. Oh, and don't think this is a podcast just for girls; it was my brothers who showed it to me.
Hear what it takes for women to be believed.
