EATS: My go-to shake

My Quick & Filling Superfood Shake

As I've said, I’m not a huge recipe person. I’m all about buying healthy ingredients I know I like (shout out Trader Joe’sss), and just combining shit in random ways that looks ugly but tastes yummy.

I'm always on the move, so I need meals that are quick to throw together and easy to take with me. I love doing a shake for lunch once or twice a week, especially after a night out or if I'm feeling icky. Here’s a superfood shake that took me ~6 minutes to make, which I then brought with me to class.

Pro Tips:

Shake whatcha mama gave ya… My mama gave me a NutriBullet blender for my birthday and I've been shakin it ever since. Normal blenders are totally fine, but between how easy it is to clean and its flip-top cups that I can take anywhere, it's a great buy for a busy bee.

Use it or lose it.  No matter how hard I try, I still find ways to overspend on groceries that end up unused. Shakes are a great way to toss in perishables like milk and bananas, as well as those chia seeds and half-eaten peanut butters that have been lying around.
